WE head out to do the last afternoon hunt. NO decoys, 3 dogs, 5 hunters and all very tired. Well

Judy had scouted the spot , birds were here the other day so we hoped we could wing a couple of birds.

Bailey Judys dog sits patiently for birds to fly or maybe to fall from the sky. But it does not happen.

Judy, Tom Annette, Jason and Warren and Jasmine Bailey and Fudge look forward to the last

day of hunting.

These 3 were up to no good on Sunday afternoon. No decoys for the cranes and No decoys for the ducks in the afternoon either but they came back with limits of mallards. Then MOnday mornign theyput a hurtin on some Canadas.

Mike and Tom discuss the definition of CHANGE, who had the best shells per bird that morning and 
who was going to scout for tomorrows hunt. 

Now Judy and Brook were the ones in the right spot and do we not look the best in the photos.

Those guys just shot better.

Sunday morning No decoy setting just sitting in the tree row hoping we are in the right spot. And we were

Jason and Scott shot some shells too.

HE is looking for a good field when he cleans QB’s gun on a sunny afternoon.

After 2 weeks of dry dusty conditions Jason undertakes to clean a few decoys. 1hour and 12 decoys we decided there were other things to do besides wash decoys and we left Mother Nature to do her job 3 nights later.

Dave Meyer dog Jake retreives ducks and geese in the field.  The ducks were no problem

but those big honkers were a challenge when they weighed more than he did, but he did get

the job done.

Last morning in te field. 80 snows and some ducks a couple of canadas. They hunted a burned wheat field

with a mixed flock fo snows nad Canadas. The birds were cycloning down over them. It doesnot get

any better than that” says Jason.  Toms nephews accompanied them ont he hunt and Warren , he said it was pay back for all the birds he had cleaned over the 38 days of hunting.
