Winter fun is what I call it.. These snow shoes have put on many miles and should be used much more..but after 3/4 hour in the deep snow the first time this year.. I was ready for a sit and a cup of hot tea..

End of another year at Big Grass and Mother Natures offer a picture perfect morning.. Sun is just starting to rise. temps are awesome and horefrost has painted amazing photos.

One of the Dinner deserts we share over the week is Chocolate and Banana Creme pie.. Toms favorite is Chocolate and Tonies is Banana Creme. Both get eaten up fast.

Toms garden supplies the pumpkins for the sign at the end of the lane.. No pumpkin pies this year Judy is decorating FIRST!!!

Sept 15 is when we saw our first flights of snows this year. Now season is open and we are challenged with warm temps and feeding patterns of the birds..

George Eddie and Doug return for another year of hunting with Big Grass.. Birds in your face, shells ejecting and honkers on the ground is what they experienced.. Even Ice, Georges dog is thinking it was a work out this morning.

Scouting is the Job I do every morning and evening in waterfowl camp .. it is amazing what your see. Hot temps today but this doe and her fawns are feeding along one of the fields we will hunt tomorrow. It is awesome to see these cause we know in 6 weekw

Limits of ducks over water.. these guys had a great hunt. Many teals, gadwals, scaups, wideon, buffleheads, all make for big Smiles.

5 hunters full body duck decoys and well dressed blinds and now we just need the ducks.. The ducks were droppin in here nicely this morning

First 2 groups have a great shoot on honkers.. Toms dog does a great job retrievin the birds.

Our local population grows each year with good hatches of young geese. These gosslings are just 9 months ols but they still are great to hunt.

In temps of over 80F Drazen takes this black bear in Manitoba.. First time to Canada hunting and he has a successfull black bear hunt.. Congrats Drazen and Welcome to Canada.

Rhoderick was successfull on a coyote..after his bear was down he spent some time with Norm calling coyotes.. Rain came after he took the coyote but he heard many replies and saw a number of animals.
