2007 Big Grass Wall of fame

Another year of Spring bear hunting past with some great trophies harvested again some fellows did not make it to the Wall of fame but your photos will still appear on site and in the album of Judys photos. We made some great friends over the weeks of hunting and Tom and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all who hunted with Big Grass. We shared many laughs and hopefully you will remember some of the unique things that happened in the woods and while in camp. You all come as clients but many leave a great friends! God Bless!!

2007 Largest Manitoba bear recorded

Drew Harper’s 7 ft 22 4/16bc was confirmed the largest recorded Black bear taken in 2007. We just got notification from the scoring committe of Manitoba Big Game Trophy Assoc. Drew will get a certificate and plaque to hang on the wall.

22 4/16 bc bear skull

This bottom jaw set is a replica of the jaw from the bear. The jaw had been broken, canines worn off to the gums, andthe bottom jaw one tooth stuck traight out to the front which Scott though would have broke off when he cleaned skull but however it did not. We have sent the tooth away for aging hope to get it back by this time next year. Can you imagine the discussion between this fellow and any other bear had while working out the pecking order in the area.

3 weeks old

These little monster are 3 weeks old now 3 are now picked for homes and Tom is sure he will keep one and somedays it is 2 so we will wait and see. Lots of barking, grunting. WE have Hank the TAnk, Squeekers, named so far. They are just starting to get their peronalitys . HAnk is biggest and is first to dish and leaves last, and largest pile in the corner. WE are haveing a blast getting to know them. Especially at 3 am when they think they need more than Jazmines milk.

5 ft Choc taken by Barry Cruea Mi.

We delivered Barrys bear on trip to sportshows when we were past his door at Sturgis Mi. Barry had his bear mounted here in Manitoba by Scot Holman of Holman Taxidermy. A unique mount for Barrys bear standing looking at the bee hive.
