Ok this AM we were freezing and now this afternoon it is just an awesome temp for hunting..50F anda sharp wing from the west. KILL THEM DUCKS AND CACKLERS> AND they Did!!!
Now Jason has not been in camp for 1 whole year and he is really excited he can emply another trailer of decoys. The guy has a phobia of NO DECOYS left in trailer. Good thing we do not use 20 foot highway trailers or I know htey would be empty.= Right JAson!!
Freezing temps but lots of birds for this group of shooters. Tom WArren,Tim, Chad,Tyler,Jason, Randy and Ron Clean up on a few Cacklers and snows wanting in this pea field. Temps are to be like 65 above this will be awesome, we hate this 20F. for hunting.
Randys first shoot this week and as usual he is left winger and thisis what he gets a Banded Cackler. WE have had a lot of bands from the Cacklers this year. MOst being banded in NWT.
These three bucks still in bachelor group. all 4×4’s. These fellows are not old deer , they need a few years to be the 150+ most people are looking for
Dave on the far right of the blinds seems to always have stones under the seat of his Final Approach. NO idea hoe they get there but he is like rock Magnet.
Heavy overcast and fog rolling in makes this an awesome hunt LImits of Canadas and Ducks and even a few snows. Dave on his 10th trip, Mike and Brian ontheir 8th trip and a Newby Ron travel from Minnesota to take advantage of the All day opener of Manitoba waterfowl. Shells per bird seem to change depending on who is tell ing the story but all in all they seem to not let many pass through without ruffleing a lot of feathers. Good shooting guys!
