We entered the bait stopped the quad and within minutes 2 bears moved through the bush towards us. This brown 4.5 ft bear came toward the bait. Tom and I got in the trailer and watched , he stands sniffing the air and circling towards for the other quad which has meat in the front box. After a few attempts he pulls the bait from the box, Tom whistles and he drops the meat and turns going about 10 ft away and sits down looking back at us. He is not sure what we are he had tried to wind us but is not scared, he is not snapping his teeth just hungry. We were at this bait yesterday and barrle was empty so we are replacing it.There is scat all down trail,and the goody barrel is nearly pulled from the tree and meat barrel is turned upside down.A Live Visitor
