Sunrise showing and the deer move away from the local barn yards out to the fields. They really are not very scared but to move away as the truck slows. Really nice to see the animals here in good shape some farther away from farmyards are showing signs of the long cold winter..

Regular visitor at the bird feeder all winter now has some grass showing and showes good signs of turning from white to little brown.. Does this mean we might actually have spring soon..

Bailey now 15 and Jazzy 8 sitting and sunning themselves on a warm afternoon. We have not had many sunny days lately. but they say Spring is just around the corner.

Travis and Jessica walk the sandy shores of Lake of the Prairies searching for Anything, coyote tracks, a bone frozen in the sand, due to lowered water levels on the lake, the banks are showing.. makes a great place to explor when the fish are not biteing,

80C carp caught was the largest fish of the day..Now he is being released back to the lake..

August 24, 2013 31+c today March 3 2014 -31C my what a change of temps,, which one would be easier to deal with? Pat, George, Don and Jeff sit on back deck enjooying a cool drink of iced tea.

1999 the Illinois Boys of Bowhunting.com arrived for a goose hunt,, today I talked to Todd, owner of Bowhunt to Die and our webhost discussing, websites, hunting and just wonderful to be alive and healthy.. Bow his golden dog on right, and Pats black labs front and back did a good job of retreiving the woonded birds from the shooters shots..

Ice fishing derby was a great hit in the area, I spent the day being the Camera man,, ofcourse nothing that I loved better,, only 700 clicks that day… but this fellow had the best catch of the day and won the $10,000 for winning prize..

Mother nature paints some Awesome pictures when she is pounding us with high winds and snow. It amazes me how things like the snow has attached itself to this cattail.
