This tree is along the trail by one of the baits you can see the tree has been stripped of branches and leaves.. Early in spring when we see this it is usually a boar marking it territory but at this time of year it is usually numerous bears with nothing to do. the gras is pack down like a herd travelling here. trails everywhere… With this sign I know we will be putting many barrels of oats here before hunters arrive. one year in 4 weeks we placed 13 barrels to one bait.. the hunter saw 12 bears one nite.. Make for kind of expensive vitals for bears…
