Every year locals gather for the Christmas concert the highlight of a small town. Santa arrives in full force at the end to hand out parcels to small people at the concert..Then coffee and taste baking is sampled by all..

Last nite we attended the Buck scoring with 25 nice whitetail heads.. Every year I get to bring out my measuring tape and ruler to test my knowledge on Boone and Crocket Scoring system..some great heads randing from 120’s to near 160’s taken by the members of the club.. Some great Chilly made by one of the members and some great storys told about how deep the snow was and of good shots and bad shots and the BEST one is of the MONSTER Manitoba whitetail who got away…

Finally Judy takes time to go to the stand, armed with 300 Win mag, video camera, Canon Camera. Lots of tracks so hopefully i will see something..

Nov 14, 7 fellows arrive at the lodge to hunt in the area.. One fellow was having some problems hittin last year so before they head out they sight in their rifles.. Tomorrow there will be no problem with putting the big buck down..Good luck fellows

No hunters in camp this week so Tom has time to do some hunting.. He had seen this fellow many times but not the right shot.. finally he has no problem putting him to the ground

Everyone knows Tom love his Wood stove and he built a new shed for his wood this year with a roof and all.. Finally after quite a few loads it is full.. His shop will stay nice and warm this winter..
