Every spring we deal with many woodticks when hunting bears, they are in the grass and get on your clothing and sometimes stick on to your skin, they are on the bears when we load them to the trailers, and our 4 dogs are outside and the ticks geton them also.. if dealt with correctly if they are stuck remove them by pullin them off and a little skin comes too, apply anticeptic cream on bite, or use a hot needle to remove them, they will release themselves without takeing the skinn.. Always apply anticeptic cream to stop infection which migh occur… Here we placed it on stove, high heat kills them, or squishing them also does..
