On way home from town and came along 2 turkey buzzards at a dead carcass on the road. One fellow is trying to get a bite while other fellow is being very protective of the food.

19 days since I first saw this hatch of Canvasbacks and they are nearly grown up. They roost here on this stump during night away from any predators.

July in Manitoba when you are a farmer involves lots of checking and spraying to keep insects and disease from decreaseing yeild in the crops. Here Bruce sprays fungicide for leaf mold and other diseases due to high humidity and rains and thick ffolage on plants.
