Muzzleloader smoke

Ty shoots his muzzleloader before going to the stand. With no wind, heavy airpressure the smoke hangs in the air. Should make for a cool video if he takes a bear.

May 1 bear baitng

John and Warren headed out early to get baits checked before hunters arrived tomorrow. Rain Sleet, high winds and snow falling and they will ride quads for most of the day. They will be froze when they get back tonite.

Snow in May 2010

May 3 we wake to a skiff of snow, Second week of Spring bear we wonder if Mother Nature is going to beat on us again. Forecast is for clear and sunny this evening but tomorrow not great with high winds and rain.

Lumenoc

Lumenoc arrows definitely show up on a black bear. Some video footage captured is awesome to kill shots.

Toms Jazzy at bear camp

Now this dog thinks she is just a little puppy however she does not see the hang over at the back end. Toms girls are very neglected and under nurished.

Away hunting Prostaffers

May 3 Ty and Bob arrive to camp to capture thier kills on tape. Here Ty has Bob whack a target in the kill zone. Monday we woke to a skiff of snow on the ground so might be kind of chilly out there this evening.

Honey I am Home

John arrives to bear camp!! Not sure who he is calling Honey as him and Warren are sharing a room, but we all know when your head hits the pillow in bear camp lights are out. Judy has you jumpin ten feet higg, but the crazy part is after the hunters go to thier cabin we sit and have cool one talk about all crazy things that happen all day and laugh at all the misfortunes of others in camp. We seem to have an odd sense of humor but after a long day it is great to unwind and laugh muscles do not seem to be as sore then.

Marbled Godwit

WArren and I watched these 2 birds for 2 afternoons finally I decided to get a photo and then see what they were. It seem you think you know all there is toknow and then out comes the Bird book and wow there are so many birds and little markings it is a challenge. but I narrowed it down to Barred or Marbled Godwit but nesting of Barred is in Alaska so this is my final answer.
