Bear hunting is a must for Bernie of Wisconsin.. 3rd year in camp over 80 years of age and still going strong.. 4 th nite in the stand 5th bear and he puts this bruzer on the ground.. But what really had him disapointed was at 5 in walked a bear twice this size and did n ot give hime a shot.. Stood behind the tree lookin g up at Don with the video camera and then just walked out not giveing me a shot.. I am so disapointed he was a Monster…likely larger than the 20 4/16bc that he took the first year at Big Grass. congrats Bernie on a great bear.

After sitting in the stand Monday nite in pouring rain, Tuesday not seeing a bear Scott finally puts this 6fter with an awesome white blaze to the ground. After smaller bear showed earlier and lay down just behind the stand Scott is wondering if he is got a bad omen against him. But just a few minutes later up walks this bruzer slowly enters the site and not even getting to the bait the 45-70 blasts out the shoulder. Scotts heart settles down and he decides tos ee where the bear went.. as he passes the barrels he sights a huge amount of red blood ..great moving down the hill more, and then he hears the death moan from just feet away..then after calling  Judy on the radio for over an hour he has his Manitoba Black Bear …The Oak Tree stand has been renamed to the M. Poppins stand as Scott worried if the strong winds and and a umbrella in his hand would have lifted him off and sailed across the valley.

Second nite in the stand her confidence is peeked and out walks this bear… Oh no my heart is going to burst.. how can i steady and make a good shot… Calm down…. Cool no problem she does it ….This bear only went feet from the barrels of the bait and after a very long death moan which makes hair stand on you neck the bear is DOWN… Breaker breaker  Bear down. bear down.. Judy come quick my bear is down.. We retreived this bear took photos at the site and now Jules of AUSTRAILIA has a Manitoba Monster Black Bear….

Theres a bear only yds from the stand as Wes gets set up for his hunt.. his heart is pumpin… After a long hour a movement on the side and a bear is chompin his teeth and huffin under the stand.. WEs isi not sure of this bear hunting…Will his heart slow to steady a shot ,, will the bear come up the tree to visit… oh heck I will just nail him to the ground with a muzzie and that is what he DID… Wes has his first bear hunt on tape and he has an awesome story and a Manitoba Trophy Bear hunt… Congrats Wes…

Ty nails this great black bear with a muzzie blade and puts him down just a few yards from the bait site.. After a heart pumpin moment and a long death moment Ty is able to tell his story on camera.. His hunt will air on Away Outdoors in Jan on Pursuit Channel.. Way to go Ty… Awesome first bear.
