Good friends daughter shows her Reserve Grand Champion Steer here at the show.. Larissa is a good showman setting up her steer for the judges.. We shoot many Canadas and Ducks on her dads fields during the waterfowl seasons in the fall.

June 16 we  had 2.5 inches of rain fall in just 3/4 hour… Since May 27 when we came from Spring bear camp we have had 18 inches of rain… All ponds are FULL Ducks are QUACKIN,, and we have water sittin in the garden. Tom is a little stressed as his tomatos are laying in watre. But we have some ripening already so will  be taste treats later.

HEre Tyler Toms nephew ssets up for a strike out at home.. Tylers ball speed has been clocked at 95 mph…He is only 15 and pitches for a number of teams in teh area.

Here someone is fishing on  very fast moving water.. The shores here are up to near overflowing. Still cathcing walleye and some huge Northerns but very dangerous if you ever fell in…

June  19 THe boat aock here is nearly flooded Water is up over 6 feet.Vehicles are from fishermen out on lake catching the tasty Walleye the lake is noted for..You can see on left side of photo the water swirling.. that is just in front of the spillway where water goesThrough the Dam into Assinobline River..and then to Winnipeg Flood way. The Dam was built in 1967 to assist in the flooding in Winnipeg where Red River from south and Assinoboine meet causeing major floooding at the city all this water just go north in Red River to Lake Winnipeg through City of Winnipeg..

May 21 we were all loaded up andready to head for home… Tom and I would like to thank all who atttended camp this year for the great memories and good times you brought to camp…Also we would like to thank John aka Bump Bump and Warren aka Bird Man for all their help and hard work with out you we would be DEAD….. Every year we come and go , judy gets many photos this year hours of video footage and over 1200 photos to review, resize and add to this page.. Now summer is here we will have happenings around Big Grass lodge with family visitors, and the girls….. HOpe you have a great summer!! Keep in touch send me a photo of what you might be doing….. Dan and Tom discuss size of slippers Dan wears. Vinnie our Grandson spends a day with us in camp and will assist us in loading up for return home…. Oh my  own bed…..Yes!!!1

9 fingers takes this awesome blonde. Dennis was looking for a colorphase and he got the cream of the bear hunts.  Later while waiting for John to pick hiim up out walks a Monster Bear….Wow he was huge…. Darn now I have to come back if that stand might be available in 2011….. No problem we have room for 9 fingers. But you better make sure that knife is kept in the sheath we do not need any other mishaps like the last……….. You see the very white bandage ont he thumb!!!!

Toni and Tom fling a few arrows. Tom has not done much shooting since his disk fusion but he is slowly getting the grouping back… Now Toni pullin 85lbs  has no problem sticking the target on the kill zone..

Toni returns for a colored bear. First nite no show…. Warren sits with video camera to capture the hunt on tape. Second afternoon Toni checks out just how short Tom really is no he is not on his knees and Tom is not on a Stool. but It is a Great photo.. Go Way to go Toni…. Oh yes and thank you for picking up the bananas for the Banana Cream Pie you seemed to assist on eating…..
