Woweee and we have clean vehicles.. Dodge Ram was caked with mud on the under side , wheelwells and all over… Our last days of hunting were wet and the Mud seemed to STICK… But now Tom has it all Cleaned up!
Limits of Frozen Canadas and ducks

From the field to the freezer and Home, Hunters take back their limits of Canadians and Ducks for processing at their homes. Here are frozen breasted out Canadians and ducks which have a wing left on for Identification when travelling across the border. Then they can remove the wing and pace to freezer for use in making Orange duck casserole, duck breast in Mushroom gravy and many other favorite recipes of the regular Joe hunter. Our Bird man Warren is well trained in Birdcleaning.

Harvest is well under way in the area, 50% of our cereal crops have been done and much canola is swathered waiting to be combined… We are seeing good migrations of snows arriving to the area..

I have motion camera out to see what is happening, one night I have Booboo bear and the next these two wonder in eating the tops of the clover and alfalpha… and then a taste of oats to finish of their evening stroll. Also the tracks travel past the Corn and peas in the garden… Oh well everyone has to have a snack too..

Do do you see a Bears Butt? Picking Saskatoons with many bear prints in the mud. You could see where they sat and pulled berries off bushes and where they stood high and pulled them off.. With NO WILD BERRIESthis U-pick makes only restaurant in area for bears.

Last weekwe had bear scat, this week we have foot prints down the lane and across the garden to the Raspberries which I hav started to pick. I share with the birds but not sure if I will share with Mr Bear. We may hav to bring out the 410 to tell him to stay away! No wild berries this year the 2 year olds are hungry.

Joseph caught 3 and their Mamma at a bait in Spring. Lots of goofing around and great footage. The sow will put the Cubs up the tree if she feels the Cubs are in Danger. Sows with Cubs are not allowed to be shot.

just a heads up Judy was in hospital for a hip replacement June 23 this was all preplanned we had to get the Spring bear hunting over before she could take time off, she was back home in 4 days and is doing fine… she can now sit at the laptop and pics will flow….. Plans for fall bear are in the works and fulll speed ahead… however the walker gets put on hold, and the New Viking gets her around the yard to make sure everything is fine.. Tom spend 10 days off trucking to be the care giver… bell rang Tom came a running.. Not so fast. but was great to have him home getting all the things done he loves to do…

Justin Toms son and Girlfriend are assisting in the baiting this spring, while out in the woods we came across a older house, they thought it would be a fixer upper, Des started collecting her set of pots and pan.
